The Chevrolet Silverado, completely redesigned in 2007, hopes to continue its reputation as the ‘strongest, most dependable and longest lasting truck on the road.’ The 1500 is a ‘half-ton’, full-size pickup.
There are four engine sizes to choose from: 4.3-liter V-6, 4.8-liter V-8, 5.3-liter V-8 and 6.0-liter V-8; all are controlled by a four-speed automatic. Like all Silverados, the 1500 is available in a wide array of bed sizes, wheelbases, drive types and cab sizes, and can be configured with a variety of trim levels. Safety features include driver and passenger front air bags, tire pressure monitoring system and four-wheel antilock disc brakes.
The 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 carries over from 2007.
